Last night at Ignite Orlando 2 I had the pleasure of opening the night with a very cool talk about Rock Stars. Not your A-Listers and arena touring rock stars, but real life tribe leaders and those that are working to make their lives into Rock Star Lifestyles.

The people I mentioned in the talk

The companies that I mentioned in the talk

  • Tom’s Shoes - In Orlando you can find them at Funky Monkey in Oviedo Marketplace
  • OLPC - Make your donation to being technology to those that could really use it
  • Kiva.org - Make a $25 donation for the sake of alleviating poverty

The slides

I have had an awful time trying to get my slides on SlideShare today so I ended up uploading them all to my server. You can view all their glory here. It will open in a new window.

The video

Not the best quality, but you can hear me run trough this presentation in super speed. The format was 20 slides in 5 minutes with each slide auto-rotating every 15 seconds. That is a lot of info to get out, thus the speed presenting.

I’d love to hear your thoughts if you were there.

If you weren’t, well, that’s cool too as this site is geared towards getting your mentality to be in the rock star mindset. Dealing with young professionals who are looking to make a difference in their life and the lives of others is our mission and we hope to deliver some awesome content, actions and case studies along the way.

Thanks to Gregg Pollack and Dan Kinchen for putting on the event.
