I am always on the hunt for great writers about Gen-Y. Some good ones are Bea Fields of Millennial Leaders and Penelope Trunk’s Brazen Careerist (which is now a cool company and awesome Gen-Y network). A few weeks back while researching for a Mashable post on Gen-Y Entrepreneurs, I came across Donna Fenn, and a book she was getting ready to release called “Upstarts! How GenY Entrepreneurs are Rocking the World of Business and 8 Ways You Can Profit from Their Success.”

I was lucky enough to have a copy rushed to my place a few days ago and I just had to talk to her about her experience and the way that she views Gen-Y after getting to know over 100 Millennial CEO’s and the 60+ that made it into the book. I got to ask some questions that are going to help me in my own business and also help some of you firm your beliefs and take your company to the next level. Below is an excerpt from that talk where we talked about Gen-Y giving back through the businesses they start, something Donna calls “Social Capitalists.”
