2 Rocking Affiliate Events
Quick post in between the Social Proof Series (part 3 should be up Wednesday).
Right here in my backyard of Orlando is a killer Clickbank event next weekend (Feb. 18-20th). Some quick history about Clickbank and I.
When I first started Internet Marketing (years down yander) I started with some drop shipping and eCommerce stores. When the millions didn’t come rushing in, I did what nearly all newbie Internet Marketers do and start looking for forums, digging through Google and landing into shady IM Scammers who can really easily make a buck in the market.
That lead me to my first long form sales letter for “Day Job Killer.” I thought this was gold man, serious gold. I mean, read that sales letter as a 24 year old kid who has dollar bills glued to his eyeballs when he sleeps.
So I copped it and the checkout process was through Clickbank. Now the guy that put it out there has made his millions and has actually launched a ton of #1 products on Clickbank.
So what is Clickbank and why is there an entire conference dedicated to them?
Essentially it’s an affiliate network that sells downloadable products. It started with eBooks, and now goes for anything from software to eBooks to video courses to drip membership sites. They have made a ton of people a ton of money, including me.
Last year I launched my first product into Clickbank, the New Music Economy. It did fairly well and made me and some affiliates some good money last year. Yesterday I threw my second product into Clickbank, BandWPThemes. This product has been on the market for 6 months or so, but we never had an affiliate push, so we thought, what the hell, throw it in Clickbank and see what happens.
So this conference is pretty cool, and has some great speakers like Dush Ramachandran from Clickbank, Armand Morin (guru type guy), Daven Michaels from 123Employee (awesome Outsourcing company) and a ton of others.
A buddy I met in Vegas at Affiliate Summit, Jon Shugart, will be speaking as well. This guy is one of the best IM Software/Automation guys in the business and Brett and I are using his software religiously on our niche projects.
Long story short, I have a really cool hook up from Mark Anastasi, the guy throwing the event, and a super Clickbank user, to give away tickets for you to come hang out with me and the crew in Orlando.
All you need to do is head to the link below and signup. It’s free. No upsells. I promise. But I’m sure the speakers will be talking about their products from the stage, that’s a given at a free IM event. But the networking, potential JV Partnerships and learning a thing or 2 is more than worth the admission price (of $0).
Sign up here and let me know if you are coming to hang in Orlando. I’ll be sure to block off some time to hang out, kick back a beer or two or help you with your info marketing business.

Affiliate Marketing Awards

Next on the list of cool stuff going down is Murray Newlands Affiliate Marketing Awards. Murray and I go way back and late last year I spoke at one of his events in Miami that totally kicked ass.
Well, he is at it again and throwing a huge party for affiliates on April 12 in beautiful San Francisco. Over 350 affiliates will be rocking and vying for awards that include:
- Hottest Affiliate
- Hottest Affiliate Manager
- Best Affiliate Marketing Blog
- Best Sales Campaign
- Best Mobile Campaign
- Best PPC Campaign
- Best Banners
- Best Agency
- And more…
This is a really cool event sponsored by HasOffers, VigLink, Affiliate.com and others.
As usual Murray wants to hook my rock star readers up. Use the coupon code GR10 will get anyone 10% off a ticket or entries.
Not sure if I will be out there or not yet, but I will keep you posted.
Meet Me In Orlando!
Again, I’d love to meet some of you guys (and sexy ladies) in Orlando next week. It’s short notice, but it’s on the weekend, and Orlando is super cheap to fly into and grab a room. There is even a killer Buddy Guy concert / BBQ that I will be rocking VIP style on Saturday night for those that want a taste of the Orlando life.
So, leave a comment below or get in touch if you are coming out. Register for free here.
